This 5-day film festival, taking place from Wednesday, May 27 through Sunday, May 31, 2026, is an annual event dedicated to recognizing Black talent and showcasing quality film and television content by and about people of African descent. The festival will feature at 80+ separate events and is dedicated to the belief that diverse artists deserve the same opportunities as their mainstream counterparts. As the largest community of Black film and TV enthusiasts, the ABFF attracts a broad audience of celebrity talent as well as emerging artists and industry stakeholders. Now in its 30th year, the festival provides a platform for emerging Black artists, many who have gone on to become successful actors, comedians, producers, writers, and directors. Event venues will include the Miami Beach Convention Center, New World Center, and many more throughout Miami Beach.
