SoundScape Cinema Series: Freakier Friday takes place Wednesday, January 21 at SoundScape Park. The film reunites Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis as a mother and daughter who once again find themselves navigating an unexpected identity swap, this time involving a younger generation. Building on the original story’s themes of empathy and perspective, the sequel explores how family dynamics evolve over time while leaning into humor and situational chaos.

The screening is part of the City of Miami Beach’s SoundScape Cinema Series and begins at 8 p.m. Admission is free with no ticket required. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating on the lawn and enjoy the film on the New World Center’s large-scale outdoor projection wall.
